For far too long, Americans have been forced to rely upon '911' services for far too many situations, resulting in hundreds of thousands of unjustified and unpunished shootings and/or killings by untrained, unqualified law enforcement officers. To their defense, most law enforcement officers acknowledge that they are ill prepared to respond to mental health emergency calls. Yet, with local governments refusing to consider the overall general health, safety, and welfare of its citizens suffering with diagnosed and undiagnosed mental health conditions, it is up to developers and the private citizens to create the society and mental health response apparatus we want to exist.
